Felice Stevens introduces us to the four late 20-ish college friends who take up the call of getting settled down and this one sets the tone: These men have a bond but also personal issues and the first one to grab center stage is the most vulnerable of all, Elliot Hansen.You can read the blurb and get rolling as soon as the door opens on this one but be warned: Elliot and his new neighbor Winston Rogers have nothing in common except they have been shattered by events that rendered each of them suspicious of getting into any kind of relationship, including the one they develop almost instantly.The thing here is that author Stevens does not cut corners--she fully explains what brought both men to the point where they almost collapse under the pressures they have created upon themselves.I am not going to say this is a jolly read all the way, but it is a compelling vision into the lives of two families and the two only children from those families who are not at all suitable for each other but from the start could not be more perfect for each other.This will be another interesting series from an author who never fails to deliver. The story was a little boring there's a couple parts of the story that read like an old Dick and Jane book. It was hard to find the chemistry because there was so much of the other part of the story being told and not the relationship. That seemed rushed at times there was parts of the book when it seemed like the author was rushing to get to the end. And then there's parts of the book when you thought the storyline would go on forever.
